Erneut greift Top-Regisseur Tony Scott auf Harry Gregson-Williams zurück, der bereits für ihn Taking of Pelham 123, Déja Vu, Man on Fire oder Spy Game musikalisch inszeniert hat.

Der neue Film lautet Unstoppable, der am 2. Dezember 2010 in die Kinos kommt. Erneut ist auch Denzel Washington involviert, der zuletzt für Tony Scott in Die Entführung der U-Bahn Pelham 123 zu sehen war.

Auch Rosario Dawson (Welcome to the Jungle, Killshot, Alexander) ist im Film tätig, genauso wie Kevin Dunn, den man aus Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, Lost, Prison Break oder Hot Shots kennt.

Dreamworks Animation has confirmed to MovieScore Magazine that Harry Gregson-Williams, just as we expected, will compose the original music for the upcoming fourth film in the studio’s Shrek franchise. The film, now entitled Shrek Forever After, will be released on May 21 next year and features, once again, the voices of Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz. Other cast members include Amy Poehler, Antonio Banderas, Maya Rudolph and Julie Andrews. Mike Mitchell, who directed Sky High for Walt Disney four years ago, helms the project.

The synopsis from Dreamworks: “After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws’ kingdom, what’s an ogre to do? Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. What’s happened to this ogre’s roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.”

The first Shrek movie came out in 2001 and had a score co-written by Gregson-Williams and Powell. The two sequels were scored by Gregson-Williams solo with additional music being supplied by, among others, Stephen Barton, Heitor Pereira and David Buckley.
