Call of Duty 4 - erste Details zum Soundtrack |
Entwickler Infinity Ward und Publisher Activision verkündeten heute neue Details zum Ego-Shooter Call of Duty 4, genauer gesagt zum Soundtrack des Spiels: So ist niemand geringeres als der bekannte Komponist Stephen Barton für den Soundtrack verantwortlich. Barton zeigte sich unter anderem für die Musik in Filmen wie The Number 23, Deja Vu, Shrek oder Die Chroniken von Narnia verantwortlich. Die Musikproduktion, sowie die Titelmelodie von Call of Duty 4 werden dazu von Harry Gregson-Williams übernommen, dessen Musik durch die Metal Gear Solid Reihe oder z.B. die Filme Der Staatsfeind Nr. 1, Armageddon oder The Rock bekannt ist. Man kann sich also sicherlich auf einen gelungenen Soundtrack freuen, erscheinen wird Call of Duty 4 im November 2007. --- Infinity Ward and Activision, Inc. have announced that award-winning Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will feature an original score by Stephen Barton with the Main Theme & Music Production provided by award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams. “Harry Gregson-Williams was the perfect choice to craft an immersive and rich soundtrack that matches the heightened atmosphere and tension of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,” says Grant Collier, Studio Head at Infinity Ward. “Harry’s wealth of experience, passion and intensity together with the talents of young composer, Stephen Barton, shine through in the score draws gamers deeper into the epic and cinematic experience that is Call of Duty 4.” |

HARRY GREGSON WILLIAMS scores G-FORCE |
The Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency just announced that composer Harry Gregson Williams is going to be working on the original score for the movie "G-Force", currently under development and coming from Walt Disney Pictures, produced by David James / Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Hoyt Yeatman. Verschiebung von «Gone Baby Gone» mit Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris und Casey Affleck (Regie: Ben Affleck, Musik: Harry Gregson Williams) |
Das Regiedebüt von "Ben Affleck", mit dem Namen "Gone Baby Gone", wird aufgrund vieler Ähnlichkeiten zum Entführungsfall, der aus Portugal verschwundenen "Madeleine McCann", auf unbestimmte Zeit verschoben.
"HGW" war für den Soundtrack des Filmes zuständig, der bereits fertig abgedreht wurde und im Dezember anlaufen sollte. Die Schauspielerin "Madeline O'Brien", die das verschwundene Kind in "Gone Baby Gone" spielt, hat nicht nur einen ähnlichen Namen,. sondern sehe "Madeleine McCann" auch noch sehr ähnlich. In dem Drama um zwei Privatdetektive, die in Boston ein entführtes Kind suchen, spielen "Morgan Freeman" und "Casey Affleck", der Bruder von "Ben Affleck", die Hauptrolle. Es handelt sich hierbei um die Verfilmung des Buches "Kein Kinderspiel" von "Dennis Lehane". |

World Soundtrack Awards 2007 |
Harry Gregson-Williams to be present at the WSA and live performance of his music.  During the 7th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards, the Flemish Radio Orchestra will give a live performance of music by Mychael Danna (Little Miss Sunshine, Capote, Exotica, Monsoon Wedding), Harry Gregson-Williams (Antz, Shrek, Chicken Run, Veronica Guerin) and the Greek composer Evanthia Reboutsika (My Father & My Son), who won the WSA Discovery of the Year award last year.
