Auf englisch gibt es hier die Synopsis dazu:

'Jolene' is the story about ten years in a young girl's life, who, having grown up in a succession of uncaring and abusive foster homes, marries a young man at 15 in the hope of escaping, and finding a home where she might find some love and happiness. Unfortunately, a bad decision on her part results in catastrophe and ultimately lands her in an institution for young women. After a year of hell, climaxing with an affair with a prison guard, she manages to escape and is finally on the road to freedom and finding herself. In her quest, she passes through a series of relationships, adventures and misfortunes which take her across America, in search of the life she dreams of. Based on the controversial short story by E.L. Doctorow.

Endlich können Actionfans demnächst wieder den lang erwarteten Teil zur Metal Gear Reihe käuflich erwerben.

Passend zum Release wird gross Werbung gemacht. So hat es unter anderem auf Apple auch einen Countdown, der den Kauf- bzw. das Release-Datum ankündigt.

Diesen Countdown kann man sich auch hier kostenlos herunterladen (Voraussetzung ist ein MAC OS X).



Der Soundtrack zum Spiel liefert übrigens Harry Gregson Williams. Der Sountrack soll ausserem bereist in Japan erschienen sein. Ob dieser bei uns schon käuflich erwerblich ist, ist noch unbekannt.

Kommende Projekte von Harry Gregson Williams sind «The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian» (abgeschlossen), «Jolene» (abgeschlossen), das Videogame «Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots» (für Playstation 3, abgeschlossen), «G-Force» (Post-Production), «X-Men Origins : Wolverine» (Filmdreh) und «The Taking of Pelham 123 » (Filmdreh).

Es ist erstaunlich, dass Harry Gregson Williams die Komposition des Films «X-Men Origins : Wolverine» übernimmt, da der letzte Teil noch von John Powell komponiert wurde.

Teil 2 wurde von John Ottman komponiert und Teil 1 von Michael Kamen. Mal schauen wie sich Harry Gregson Williams mit Teil 4 behaupten wird und ob er seine musikalische Würze in den Film bringt.

Der kommende Film wird von Tony Scott realisiert (Déja Vu, Man on Fire, Spy Game). Bereits in diesen drei erwähnten Filmen arbeitete Tony Scott mit Harry Gregson Williams zusammen.

Im Film werden Denzal Washington und John Travolta die Hauptrolle übernehmen. Der Film ist ein Thriller und ein Remake von 1978. Denzal Washington spielt einen Cop, während John Travolta einen Anführer einer Entführer-Truppe spielt, welcher einen U-Bahn Zug kapert.

Rupert Gregson-Williams - der auch bereits zu «Chuck and Larry» die Filmmusik komponiert hat - hat nun kürzlich die Filmmusik zu Adam Sandler's neuen Filmhit «You don't mess with the Zohan» fertiggestellt.

Wie bereits bei «Chuck und Larry» führt erneut Dennis Dugan die Regie, während Judd Apatow, Adam Sandler und Robert Smigel das Drehbuch schrieben.

Sandler erweist sich als Anti-Terror-Einheit im Kampf gegen Terroristen in Israel. Er täuscht seinen eigenen Tod vor, um endlich seinem Traum nachzugehen. Er will in New York City Hair Stylist werden. Nur bedauerlichweise verfolgen ihn seine palestinänsischen Rivalen bis nach New York.

Der Film wird am 6. Juni 2008 von Columbia Pictures in Amerika veröffentlicht.

Rupert Gregson-Williams recently recorded his score to the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy, You Don't Mess With the Zohan.

Directed by Dennis Dugan and written by Judd Apatow, Adam Sandler and Robert Smigel, the film stars Sandler as an elite Israeli Mossad agent who fakes his death and leaves Israel to pursue his dream of being a hair stylist - but his Palestinian rival follows him to New York City.
